The soccer player and the model announced in late February that they had split after “5 years of love”
SPLASHNEWSRomeo Beckham and Mia Regan were spotted together, just weeks after the couple announced their breakup.
On Friday, the soccer player, 21, and the model, 21, were photographed holding hands as they took a stroll through West London. Romeo sported Supreme sweatpants and a gray T-shirt, while Mia wore baggy jeans, a gray T-shirt and a bomber jacket.
The couple’s public outing comes weeks after they revealed that they had broken up after “5 years of love,” as Beckham put it when he announced their split in an Instagram post in late February.
“Mooch and I have parted ways after 5 years of love,” Romeo wrote over a selfie of himself and Regan sticking their tongues out at each other. “We still have a lot of love and respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will 🤍🤍.”
While she shared that the two were no longer together “romantically,” she said they still “share lots & lots of love for one another… after 5 years we friendzoned each other heheh ❤️❤️❤️.”
Regan and the Brentford F.C. forward began dating when they were 16 in 2019, and they made their first public appearance together at Wimbledon in 2021. They also reportedly split in July 2022 due to distance, but their breakup was short-lived.
The couple made their first red carpet appearance together later in 2021, appearing at the British Fashion Awards.
Regan told Vogue at the time that she spoke with her then-boyfriend’s mother, fashion mogul and Spice Girls alum Victoria Beckham, for some red carpet advice.
Regan and Victoria have long been close — in October 2022, they even collaborated on a denim collection for Victoria’s brand.
“Victoria and I have always been in conversation about fashion,” Regan told Vogue at the time. “I’ve always wanted to do something like this. I felt that [Victoria] really trusted me. To see her in full work mode was cool.”
Before their February split, Beckham even got Regan’s nickname, “Mooch,” tattooed on his inner right arm.
“Happy Birthday Mia hoped you liked that surprise,” tattoo artist Pablo — also known as Certified Letter Boy — wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Beckham’s new ink in November.
