Singer Selena Gomez shed tears as she struggled with bipolar disorder symptoms that turned her life upside down.
In an interview with Rolling Stone on November 3, the 30-year-old female star revealed that she had difficulty getting pregnant. She recalls crying in the car after the trip because the two medications for her bipolar disorder made it difficult for her to get pregnant on her own.
“Having children is a big, huge dream in my life. I want to have children, I will do everything to have children,” Selena Gomez expressed.

According to WebMD, women taking certain bipolar medications during pregnancy increase the risk of birth defects in the first trimester. Potential defects include neural tube defects, heart defects, and developmental delays or neurobehavioral problems.
Selena Gomez was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2018. Therefore, she went to a psychologist and went for several months of treatment in a mental health facility. The singer’s condition gradually improved, but she realized she had used too much medicine and it was extremely dangerous.
The actress also confided to Rolling Stone that she once intended to end her life: “I think the world would be better without me there.”
Because of depression, Selena Gomez once thought about committing suicide
Previously, the 30-year-old singer also shared about her struggle with increasingly severe lupus disease when preparing to release the documentary My Mind and Me.
“I haven’t felt it since I was little. Now it hurts. Like, in the morning when I woke up, I immediately burst into tears from the pain. I think my past and my mistakes, that’s what pushed me into depression,” Selena said.
