Sia ’caused great trouble’ when she mistook Nicki Minaj for her ‘frenemy’ Cardi B

Seeing someone wrong, Sia was so ‘absent-minded’ that she called Nicki Minaj her ‘mortal enemy’ Cardi B.

As a human being, it is inevitable to have moments of confusion, but there is no mistake more harmful than calling someone’s name into that person’s ‘mortal enemy’. This ‘forgettable’ story recently happened to famous female singer Sia when she somehow mistakenly looked at Nicki Minaj as… Cardi B – who once had a fight that left her with a broken head and forehead. ‘ with the female rapper at an event in September 2018.

On June 12 (local time), a fan posted a tweet asking Sia if the female singer wanted to collaborate with Nicki Minaj . In this tweet, the name ‘Nicki Minaj’ is clearly stated and is even thoughtful enough to include an illustration photo of the female rapper.

However, this enthusiasm was responded to in a ‘wrong’ way when Sia replied: ‘I love @iamcardib (Cardi B’s account) and even though this is not a collaboration, I still want to COLLECT WORK with her anytime!’. After the incident caused a big controversy, the fan’s tweet was also deleted and only Sia ‘s tweet remained .

Because Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have had a long-standing relationship of ‘rice is not good, soup is not sweet’, Sia ‘s confusion, whether accidental or intentional, is unacceptable to fans. Immediately after that, fans on Twitter competed with each other to trend the hashtag #Siaisoverparty (Sia is dead) and criticized Sia for intentionally reigniting the feud between two famous female rappers. 

However, Sia ‘s ‘absence’ does not stop here. After reading the hateful comments about her, Sia misunderstood that the fight between  Cardi B and Nicki Minaj  only happened recently. Therefore, the female singer responded with sharp tweets saying that this is not the time to mention ‘the feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’ but should focus on the George Floyd incident and the racism.

After being criticized again, Sia realized she was wrong and even more wrong. In fact, fans were just very angry because Sia could mistake Nicki Minaj for someone else, and it seems that only now did the ‘Chanderlier’ singer realize that the fan’s tweet was not a picture of Cardi B. She immediately deleted all of those ‘angry’ tweets and replaced them with a new apology tweet.

Sia wrote: ‘I completely misunderstood the meaning of an earlier tweet, and this caused me to make a fool of myself. Sorry Nicki Minaj and Cardi B if you’ve heard of this incident. Can I love both?’

Currently, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have not taken any action regarding this incident. Meanwhile, netizens can only hold their heads because Sia ‘s “absence” has caused unnecessary controversy among fandoms.
