The 24-year-old singer wore a high-cropped Aritzia purple sweater with a black horse’s head across the chest as she headed to her flight departure from Tokyo’s Narita Airport.

Narrow black suspenders attached to skinny jeans and ruddy-brown ankle boots completed the look.

With her shoulder-length blonde hair and bright lipstick, Taylor could have passed for a Barbie doll.

Taylor has been riding high over the past few weeks, despite a controversy that has put her in conflict with the music-streaming service, Spotify.

Shortly after a decision to keep her 1989 album off of the service, Taylor followed up by pulling her entire back-catalogue of music.

While Spotify asked Taylor to simply reconsider, some fans lashed out to call the singer ‘greedy.’

Taylor had already expressed her feelings about free music in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

‘It’s my opinion that music should not be free, and my prediction is that individual artists and their labels will someday decide what an album’s price point is.’

The singer added that for artists to give away their music would ‘undervalue their art.’

With or without Spotify’s help, however, Taylor has dominated the recent music market.

1989 may break the record for weekly sales by a female artist, with an expected 1.3 million copies, knocking Britney Spears from that pedestal.
