Taylor Swift’s fans came forward to defend the singer after Boyzone member Shane Lynch accused her of performing Satanic rituals at her Eras Tour.
Amid the international leg of Swift’s tour, Lynch commented on the singer’s recent shows and accused her of following two or three demonic routines during her live performances. He said it has been happening with the world’s biggest pop stars, as well.
Taylor Swift Accused of Having Demonic Rituals
In his interview with Ireland’s Sunday World newspaper, Lynch said a lot of performers have performed Satanic rituals live in front of their fans without letting anyone else notice or know about it.
He then mentioned the “Lavender Haze” singer as an example.
“Even down to Taylor Swift – one of the biggest artists in the world – you watch one of her shows and she has two or three different demonic rituals to do with the pentagrams on the ground, to do with all sorts of stuff on her stage,” Lynch continued. “But to a lot of people it’s just art and that’s how people are seeing it, unfortunately.”
The Boyzone member, a devoted Christian, explained it was the reason why he stopped listening to people’s music, including those in the hip-hop industry.
A video from one of Swift’s Eras Tour stops went viral on X after a user asked what they noticed in the clip. One pointed out the “Lover” singer showed devil horns hand sign several times, though some said she only showed the “I love you” sign based on the American Sign Language.

Swifties and other social media users slammed Lynch and defended Swift after the claims came out.
“Yeah. That’s ‘I love you’ I do it always,” one said. “Taylor is not the devil. You all are losing yourselves completely over her. Go find some true bad folks to kick at. It’s not her. It is not her.”
Another wrote, “That is the “I Love you” sign, in sign language. If the thumb was pulled in with pinky and index pointing up then it would be satanic symbol.”
A third said, “Shane Lynch accusing Taylor Swift of being a satanist was not on my 2024 bingo card but here we are. put some respect on willow ye d—head.”
“Who the f— is Shane Lynch…I [only] know who Taylor Swift is…” one added.
