In a surprising revelation, Taylor Swift’s second cousin, Danny Fry 3, has claimed credit for setting up the Grammy-winning singer with football star Travis Kelce.
The dirt track racer made the revelation during an interview with Flow Racing TV released on Saturday,
shedding light on his behind-the-scenes role in playing Cupid for the celebrity couple.
Fry 3 disclosed that he orchestrated the love connection between the 32-year-old pop sensation and the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end. According to the racer, the two have been romantically involved since September. Fry 3, who has been pictured with Swift at several Chiefs games, spoke about his newfound public attention due to his familial connection to the global pop icon.
“Funny thing is, a lot of people have been trying to figure out who I am lately. It’s been an interesting month or so,” Fry 3 remarked during the interview.
The rumors surrounding Swift and Kelce’s relationship first surfaced in September of the previous year, when the “Blank Space” singer was seen attending the football player’s games. Swift has been romantically linked to various high-profile figures in the past, including Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer, as well as having a long-term relationship with actor Joe Alwyn from 2016 to 2023.Kelce, on the other hand, was previously linked to influencer Kayla Nicole Brown from 2017 to 2022. Speaking to Wall Street Journal magazine, Kelce shared insights into how he was introduced to Swift. “There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was in her corner who said, ‘Yo, did you know he was coming?’ I had somebody playing Cupid,” Kelce revealed. The professional football player further elaborated that he eventually had a conversation with Swift about their first meeting, stating, “She later told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out.”
