It was the celebrity party of the year.

But despite Victoria Beckham throwing a very star-studded 50th birthday bash on Saturday night – her family as always were her priority.

The mother-of-four looked stunning as she posed with her mini-me daughter Harper, 12, in some snaps shared to her Instagram the day after.

Harper looked pretty in a long white silk dress and heels – a nod to her mum’s sophisticated and sleek fashion sense.

Beside her the birthday girl looked sensational in a sheer light blue gown with stylish ruffle detailing.

Victoria partied until the early hours on Saturday night as she celebrated her 50th birthday surrounded by her family and celebrity friends.

Declaring it ‘the best night ever’, the Spice Girl had to be carried out of swanky Mayfair private members’ club Oswald’s by her husband David at 2:30am.

Her recent foot injury saw the star rely on crutches for her glam entrance hours earlier, but she had her husband on hand for a piggy back as the night came to a close.

Giggling behind her heavily tinted sunglasses, Victoria was seen slumped against her family after being carried into the waiting car.

David, who will reach the same milestone next year, was without his jacket as the family made their way home.

The former Manchester United and England midfielder ferried his wife across the crowded pavement and into the back of their cab, where they were joined by all four of their children.

Swanky Mayfair private members’ club Oswald’s was the venue for what proved a decidedly elegant black tie affair tonight, with 100 guests enjoying dinner, fizz and cocktails – and dancing into the early hours.

Other guests seen leaving the upmarket venue included Victoria’s former Spice Girls bandmates Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown – who needed her own knight in shining armour for assistance as she made her way onto the street.

Even Geri Horner left with a smile, having seemingly moved on from the ‘sexting’ scandal involving her husband, Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner.

Close friends Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham later joined the exodus, followed by singer Marc Anthony and his model wife Nadia Ferreira.

Other departures included close family friends Gordon and Tana Ramsay, as well as Dave Gardner – David’s best friend and business partner.

Former Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria looked as fresh-faced as she made her arrival and greeted onlookers before making her way home.

Elsewhere Hollywood legends Tom Cruise and Salma Hayek – who was accompanied by husband François-Henri Pinault – drew a crowd after calling it a night  and making their way onto the street.

The Spice Girls officially reunited while celebrating Victoria’s 50th birthday in London on Saturday.

The British girl group – which was formed back in 1994 – consists of Beckham, Mel BMelanie CEmma Bunton and Geri Horner.

During the lavish festivities, all five of the Spice Girls came together to sing one of their hit tracks, Stop, for the star-studded guests – which was all caught on camera by husband David.

The former football player could be seen with a smile on his face as the group showed off a few dance moves while singing along to the lyrics. Other partygoers also joined in on the fun during the special moment.

Victoria is given a piggy back by David after her birthday party

Birthday girl Victoria was said to be delighted by the attendance of her celebrity friends, in particular her former Spice Girls band-mates.

‘It meant the world to Victoria that they were all there,’ said a friend. ‘They were a huge part of her life and they shared so much together.

‘They were special days and so of course to have them there to mark her 50th was just wonderful for her. It made everything so perfect.’

The party was just one of several celebrations to mark her half century, which fell on Wednesday.
