LeBron James Throws Lakers Teammates Under the Bus For Son Bronny After Abysmal Loss vs Grizzlies

It is no surprise that the Los Angeles Lakers are in one of their toughest stretches in the past few weeks. The team has faced humiliation throughout their road trip, only to suffer another one at home against the Memphis Grizzlies.

LeBron James, a cornerstone of the franchise at this point, also could not save their sinking ship. Now, the 4x MVP has expressed his frustration about their struggles.

Talking to the media after their loss against the Grizzlies, LeBron James was clearly infuriated.

Despite a stellar performance from the King, the Lakers fell to the Grizzlies’ resurgence. After the loss, LeBron James fumingly threw his teammates under the bus, taking his son, Bronny James, over them.

LeBron James picks Bronny James over Lakers teammates

LeBron James did not have much to do during Anthony Davis’ media availability after the game. However, he chose to have his voice heard despite it not being his turn to vent frustration.

During Davis’ interview, Lakers guard Austin Reaves asked LeBron James about his son, Bronny’s USC update. James, however, did not simply stop at that. He yelled, “He could play for us right now. Easy. EASY.”

James chose his son, a 19-year-old college player, to don the Purple and Gold over some of his teammates. The King may not have pointed out any of his teammates but his comments do not seem to simply be praise for Bronny.

While the 19x All-Star took jabs at the Lakers’ struggles, Bronny has shined for USC upon his return to basketball after a traumatic cardiac arrest. Seems like the 19-year-old is making a strong case for LeBron James’ claims.

James clearly did not seem happy with his teammates’ efforts after the Grizzlies loss. He also mentioned “we just s**k”, referring to the Lakers’ struggles in his media availability. This shows the frustration the 4x NBA Champion is dealing with, considering the Los Angeles-based franchise’s 17-19 record.

Lakers in panic mode after 3rd straight loss?

Stinging losses, poor efforts and locker room disparities have somehow seeped into the Lakers unit lately. After 3 back-to-back losses, the 17x champions have a lot to reflect on.

From their role players’ performances to their coach’s ever-changing lineups, nothing seems to be working for the Lakers. James, too, could not help but express his frustration upon this.
