Evans has portrayed the role of Captain America for eight years, and in this period, he has become one of the pillar characters of the MCU.

As the OG MCU fans remember, Chris Evans’ Captain America: The First Avenger featured the actor in his first standalone film. In the climactic battle scene, where the war is at its final stretch, Rogers finally confronts Red Skull. During the confrontation, our hero learned that Red Skull intends to use the power of the Tesseract to launch a catastrophe in one of the major cities of the world.

When Evans’ Captain America finally went against Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull, he emerged victorious. However, that victory did not come easy as it made Rogers crash the plane into the water to avoid mass destruction. Though he survived, he was frozen in ice since 1945.
Now, in a deleted Avengers: Endgame scene on YouTube, Rogers, along with Rhodes, were talking about the aftermath of his selfless sacrifice, and how he gave a very logical answer that brutally roasts the veteran superhero.
JR: “What happened to the Tesseract after that?”
SR: “It’s at the bottom of the ocean, fell out of the plane after I had to crash it.”
JR: “Yeah, I’ve been meaning to ask, why did you have to crash the plane.”
SR: “Bomb’s onboard.”
JR: “Bomb’s onboard, and you couldn’t have jumped out of the plane before you crashed it?”

Nevertheless, the conversation was hilarious as Colonel Rhodes said what the MCU fans have been meaning to ask Chris Evans for many years. While his character made a big name for himself, the actor was worried about the success of The Avengers, and that too for a bizarre reason.
Bizarre Reason Worried Chris Evans For The Success of The Avengers
During an exclusive interview with Moviefone, the Ghosted actor was asked to share the biggest difference in shooting Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers. The actor shared working in the 2012 film felt like a summer camp while working on his solo project was tiresome.
“Oh my God, I love sharing the workload. On ‘Captain America,’ I worked every single day — every single f**king day — for six months. Sometimes six days a week. We finished the movie and it was just exhausting. Like, literally, I needed like a month to not move. ‘Avengers’? I work, maybe, two days a week. Oh, it’s the best. It was like summer camp.”

The actor added that he was quite worried and how the film would have been a massive disaster if all the biggest names in the industry did not get along.
“I really liked the script. Everyone in the cast… I’ve done a million movies with Scarlett. I’ve known Hemsworth a while, he was great. And everyone is so cool: Downey and Ruffalo and everyone’s so f**king cool. The movie could have been — I mean, it could have been a sh-t show. If we all didn’t get along, it just could have been such a disaster. But it couldn’t have gone better.”
It is quite obvious to feel anxious, as a stellar cast was brought together to play the most iconic characters. And it’s a great thing that the cast had a great time shooting the film, else it wouldn’t have taken much time before Chris Evans’ fear came into existence.
