Beyoncé is set to release her new country-themed album Cowboy Carter at the end of March.

And fans are speculating about some of the A-list pop collaborations that could be featured on the record.

Among the names being thrown around is Lady Gaga, who has worked with Beyoncé twice in the past.

The two divas teamed up for Video Phone in 2009 and then again for Telephone in 2010.

While the speculation about the pair teaming up again seems to be based on nothing, it hasn’t stopped fans from whipping themselves up into a frenzy on social media.

‘Seeing more and more beyoncé x lady gaga rumors everyday oh my god,’ shrieked one fan.

‘One of the collaborations on Beyonce’s new album Cowboy Carter is with Lady Gaga. I confirm,’ claimed another fan – with zero evidence.

‘I swear if Lady Gaga is on this Beyoncé album I will die and resurrect and die again,’ posted another.

However, some fans weren’t as convinced that the two pop titans are reuniting, with one writing, ‘Lady Gaga doesn’t even follow Beyoncé on Instagram. That’s just further proof that Gaga isn’t on Cowboy Carter.’

There’s also mounting speculation that Rihanna could appear on Cowboy Carter after she donned a cowboy hat on the cover of China’s Vogue magazine.

Fans flooded Rihanna’s post with comments, with one writing, ‘Wonder if this is a hint towards a Beyoncé /Rihanna collaboration. Would be nice.’

Another commented , ‘She’s ready for Cowboy Carter just like the rest of us.’

‘Are you on Beyoncé album??? IS THIS A HIIIINT????’ another shrieked.

Beyoncé rocked a double denim look in a series of new images she shared on social media this week to promote Cowboy Carter.

The Texas-born artist wore high-waisted blue denim with a coordinating multi-hued cropped denim jacket, adding a matching handbag.

The mom of three rocked a white cowboy hat, an American flag patterned scarf and boots – with a large silver necklace and retro sunglasses to round out her Western inspired look.

She added the caption ‘4 days until act ii Cowboy Carter’ in the video, posted on Monday to her Instagram page.

Cowboy Carter will be released on March 29th.
