According to Closer Magazine, J.Lo felt hurt by the rumors that emerged after Affleck and Garner were recently spotted getting cozy in a car together, which sparked rumors that the actor was potentially being unfaithful.

J.Lo Wants To Discuss Affleck’s Boundaries In Therapy

In hopes of transforming the public’s narrative of the situation, Lopez has allegedly arranged several public outings with Ben Affleck, ensuring the paparazzi would be there to catch them in a lovey-dovey moment. Their most recent one involved a visit to a Los Angeles McDonald’s drive-through together. A source told the publication that J.Lo is intent on making their relationship seem “happy,” calling this a “classic” move for her.

Moreover, the insider also revealed that Lopez ha insisting on setting firm boundaries for Affleck regarding his association with Garner (even though they co-parent three children together). J.Lo apparently wants to establish the ground rules in couple’s therapy.

It’s unclear if the couple, who married last year, have gone to a therapy session yet. But the insider says that Lopez isn’t letting it go. “Ben won’t get her to drop it by being stubborn,” they explained.

A previous report by National Enquirer claimed that Ben and Jen credit therapy for saving their relationship. If this is the case, he may not be so hesitant to abide by Lopez’s request to discuss Garner in therapy.

“Ben is first to admit the only thing that keeps Jennifer and him together is therapy,” a source told the publication.

There’s long been speculation of trouble between Lopez and Affleck, with some reports saying they’re on the brink of divorce, and there have been allegation that she has a tense relationship with Affleck’s ex-wife Garner.

However, one recent report said that Lopez actually turner to Affleck and his ex for co-parenting advice as she struggles to raise her teen twins with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. “[They’re] really happy with each other, and there’s no drama in their relationship right now at all,” a source told Daily Mail about Garner and Affleck’s co-parenting dynamic.

“JLO and Ben have had many talks about how she deals with [Anthony], and they all have been able to figure it out,” they continued. “It is actually inspiring and nice to see.”

J.Lo may admire what Garner and Affleck have, but it also appears to bother her. Last month, a report claimed Affleck suggested a double date with Garner and her long-time boyfriend, considering they’ve been all getting on so well. But J.Lo allegedly had a strong reaction to the suggestion.

“Ben gets on great with John and has suggested couples’ date nights to him and Jen, which they are both down with. But J-Lo turns it down flat every time,” a source told Closer.

The insider added that Lopez thought the concept of hanging out altogether was “bizarre.”

“Ben doesn’t understand why J-Lo won’t give Jennifer and John a chance – he thinks it would be a lot of fun and great for the kids,” they went on. “[But it] touches a raw nerve [Ben].”
