Jennifer Lopez, 54 is said to be furious with Ben Affleck, 51 for his tell-all interview on The Howard Stern Show after the actor seemed to blame ex-wife Jennifer Garner for his addiction struggles.

Jennifer Lopez is fuming with her boyfriend Ben Affleck after he bad-mouthed Jennifer Garner.

In an interview with Howard Stern, Ben Affleck revealed the reasons his marriage with Jennifer broke down, blaming the split for his drinking problem.

But the J.Lo, 52, was not happy about it.

Sources told Page Six: “Lopez is p*****. She is getting pulled into this because she is dating him. She doesn’t want to be dragged into this.”

“She has met Jennifer Garner. She is trying to get to know her and Ben’s kids.”

The source added: “It’s reckless and cavalier of him.”

But another source added: “This is simply not true and the focus is on the children.”

Ben and Jennifer Garner, 49, divorced in 2015 after the pair tied the knot in 2005. This was just one year after Ben and Lopez called off their engagement in 2004.

Ben and the 13 Going On 30 star had their children Violet 16, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9 together.

In the heated interview, Ben did have some nice things to say about his ex: “We had a marriage that didn’t work, this happens, with somebody that I love and respect, but to whom I shouldn’t be married any longer.”

“I knew she was a good mom.”

Fans were furious with Ben after the interview, where he said that he would “probably still be drinking” if he hadn’t separated from Jennifer.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “You blame your ex wife for drinking? You were a drunk before you married her!”

“Speaking poorly about the mother of your children pretty much makes to [sic] a terrible father and a total d***head!”

“Another disgruntled fan wrote: ‘@BenAffleck sounds like [you’re] blaming your ex-wife for your drinking!”

A fourth raged: “Who knew that Ben Affleck was such a s**** human being. My goodness!”

Ben has been to rehab multiple times and been very open about his addiction problems.

In 2018, Jennifer Garner was seen driving him to a rehabilitation centre after it was reported she had staged an intervention.

Speaking about his children in the interview, Ben said: “My life affects them.

“Me and their mom are celebrities. That is hard. That is a cross to bear.”

Jennifer Lopez has twins Max and Emme, 13, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

This Halloween the trio were seen with all of their children trick-or-treating at Disney’s Magic Castle and then saw Hamilton in Los Angeles in August.

Ben and his ex wife were seen having what looked like a tense conversation as they walked through California last week.

They were carrying papers and at one point Ben was seen with a frustrated expression as Jennifer looked blankly at her ex-husband.

The Mirror has approached Ben and Jennifer Lopez’s representatives for comment.
