At least in the case of a certain iconic Versace safety-pin dress recently worn by Lady Gaga—the exact same design donned by Elizabeth Hurley when she accompanied Hugh Grant to the premiere of Four Weddings and a Funeral 18 years ago!

And while the sexy statement piece proves it’s never gone out of style, accessories can certainly make all the difference. Hurley streamlined her look with classic black pumps and a satin clutch, while Gaga opted for killer platform satin booties and flashy gold earrings.
