She’s used to making a bold statement when it comes to her outfit choices – meat dress, anyone?

But Lady Gaga still knows how to turn heads even if she’s being understated, and flashed her bare chest in a see-through top for a day at work.

The newly-single singer opted to leave her bra at home for a day at the recording studio in New York on Tuesday.

But despite her relatively muted ensemble of ripped jeans and a semi-sheer top, Gaga still made a statement by exposing her boobs, with a little help from flash photography.

Gaga has thrown herself into work following the breakdown of her relationship with Chicago Fire actor, Taylor Kinney , last month.

As well as working on new music, she has been in the center of a number of ongoing social issues, most recently performing a set of cover songs, along with her own songs, at Camden Rising – an event in Camden, New Jersey in conjuction with last week’s Democratic National Convention.

Gaga, began dating 35-year-old Taylor in 2011 after meeting on the set for her video You And I. The Hollywood duo confirmed their engagement in February of 2015.

Breaking her silence last month, Gaga confirmed the couple were taking a break, but she hopes they will get back together at some stage.

“Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates,” she wrote on Instagram. “Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break.

“We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared.”

The singer, 30, said she hopes her fans are rooting for them because they’re still very much in love.

“Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”

The split news surfaced after the pair hadn’t been pictured together for weeks and the singer hadn’t shared a picture of him on her social media accounts for over a month.
