45-year-old star Jennifer Lopez shared on Celebuzz that even though she has been filming for many years, she is still uncomfortable with performing in hot scenes.

However, the beauty was forced to do that in the latest movie, The Boy Next Door. J.Lo plays Claire Peterson – a middle-aged female teacher who is hurt because her husband is having an affair, and one day falls in love with the young man who has just moved in next door.

After a passionate one-night stand, Claire realizes the relationship becomes dangerous when her young lover becomes too infatuated and obsessed with her.

Jennifer talked about the sex scene with actor Ryan Guzman, 18 years her junior: “Doing those scenes was not comfortable at all.

That’s not something you get used to as an actor. It’s difficult to express emotions while acting.

We completed some difficult scenes but later that day was an extremely important scene. That is the moment the two characters blend together. If it’s not intense and real enough, all the other scenes won’t make any sense.”

Jennifer didn’t need to ask a stunt double for the hot scene, but at first she didn’t dare to do her best.

However, the mother of two did not dare to act her best. Director Rob Cohen frankly expressed his dissatisfaction with Jennifer Lopez’s acting.

The director said: “The problem is that the whole story originates from that scene. It is the most important link for what happens next.

We actually had to shoot it twice. Jennifer played it safe, so I had no choice but to skip that take. It’s very romantic but not violent, not provocative and not exciting at all.”

Rob Cohen had to convince Jennifer and Ryan Guzman to reshoot a second time: “I went back into the room and said to Jen: Shoot that scene the way you want it, I want it to be intense.

I won’t argue anymore. You can review your previous performance and if you feel satisfied with your acting, we will use it.

But let’s do it again for me because if that scene isn’t strong enough, we won’t have anything else to do. She later agreed, as did Ryan. And we got everything done.”

In another interview in Latina magazine, Jennifer Lopez also shared her embarrassment when performing sex scenes with her young colleagues: “We had to choreograph each scene.

I was quite embarrassed. Director Rob Cohen constantly reminded: Move your hand to the right a little! Can you bend more? It was a very sexy scene on screen, but actually when it came back, it wasn’t sexy at all!

Jennifer and Ryan Guzman are currently busy promoting the movie. The movie The Boy Next Door will be released in North America from January 23.
