Beyoncé s:t:r:i:p:p:e:d down to her origins for her new album cover, donning her maiden name and her birthday suit.

The 28-time Grammy winner, 42, went naked under another pageant sash in the second promo image for Cowboy Carter, her eighth studio album and country music debut.

In the photo, Bey serves a Venus pose, rocking long beaded braids and holding a lit cigarette billowing with smoke.

Her body is concealed by a sash that reads ‘act ii BEYINCÉ’, which is her family’s name.

Born Celestine Beyoncé, the artist has explained that she’s one of several in her family whose last name was misprinted on her birth certificate.

Beyoncé previously debuted the first album cover last week as she announced the Cowboy Carter title and March 29 release date.

She served rodeo queen in red, white and blue ensemble while riding on the back of a white horse and waving a giant American flag.

Cowboy Carter is now available for pre-order, releasing on March 29.
