Nicki Minaj caught angrily berating fan amid show where she ‘forgets her own lyrics’

Nicki Minaj appeared to angrily yell at a fan after she handed the concertgoer her microphone.

Nicki Minaj has been caught on film angrily berating a concertgoer during her latest tour performance.

Minaj is currently on her Pink Friday 2 world tour, and over the weekend she performed her latest show in Las Vegas.

However, the show was marred by technical difficulties, Minaj appearing to forget her own lyrics after coming onstage two hours late, and an awkward fan encounter.

As she performed her song The Night is Still Young, the rapper offered up the microphone to a fan in the front row to share the spotlight with her.

However, sadly the fan fumbled under pressure and could not keep up.

The hit maker appeared to grow increasingly angry and snatched her mic back, looking visibly annoyed as the crowd laughed and cheered.

“No no give me the mic. Give me the mic! GIVE ME THE MIC!” the star yelled at the fan during the bizarre incident.

Another fan posted a review of the show on TikTok, and shared a video of Minaj appearing to forget the lyrics to her own song.

In the clip, Minaj can be seeing turning her back to fans on multiple occasions as she appears to forget lyrics. In another clip from the same video, Minaj stops singing on multiple occasions while her voice seemingly continues to play.

“I just sold my ticket after watching this,” commented one fan. “But if I’m paying for a concert I want them to actually sing,” said another.

A third fan remarked: “It seems more like a karaoke sing a long vibe.”

However, some came to the defence of the rapper, with one commenting: “Y’all are seriously, going to this tour to be negative. To criticise instead of enjoying the experience.”

Meanwhile, it’s been a wildly successful year for the star, who featured on the Barbie soundtrack before debuting at number one on the US Billboard charts with her album Pink Friday 2.

The release made Minaj the first female rapper in history to have three number-one albums in the US.

The North American leg of the Pink Friday 2 Tour kicked off earlier this month in Oakland and is set to run through cities including Los Angeles, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago and New York City.
