Cardi B fans left shocked as rapper WALKS BACK threat to sue the LAPD after claiming they stripped her ‘butt naked outside’- as she insists there was ‘no truth’ to her wild story

Rapper Cardi B threatened to sue the Los Angeles Police Department over an alleged incident that she claims ended with her being strip searched over the weekend.

Cardi, 31, made the allegations during an Instagram Live stream on Monday, although some fans speculated that she was joking around for dramatic effect.

On Tuesday, the LAPD has told both TMZ and The Daily Beast that there’s no record of the incident ever taking place.

And now Cardi has come forward to say that there was ‘no truth’ to her wild story and that she was ‘taken out of context.’

‘This IG live was taken out of context and there is no truth to this story. Apologies for any confusion,’ the rapper said in a statement to Billboard.

However, the LAPD has no record of the alleged incident ever taking place

In Monday’s Instagram Live, the rapper began by telling fans that she was ‘stopped by the cops’ in Los Angeles on Sunday.

‘They thought I was trafficking fentanyl, and they thought I had a gun in my car, so they stopped me and everything. All the helicopters in L.A., they was outside. Yo, I was freaking out,’ she continued.

‘They had me outside for like, three hours. They had me getting butt naked outside, s**t was crazy. It was deadass a movie and whatever, but you already know.’

The Enough hitmaker then said she was ‘about to sue the LAPD’ over the alleged debacle.

Despite her allegations, a detective at the LAPD told the Daily Beast that they had ‘no record of contact with Cardi’.

Law enforcement sources also told TMZ that there were no reports of the incident Cardi described and that ‘if something as dramatic as what she described happened, it’d be documented’.

It’s possible that Cardi was joking about the incident, as she was speaking in a different voice when she recounted it on Instagram – and even burst out laughing at the end of the tale.

‘Alright, so no, seriously, I just wanna say thank you to my mother f***ing fans,’ she added at the end.

It comes just days after Cardi stripped down for the X-rated music video to her new hit Enough (Miami). Cardi can be seen strutting her stuff in a racy one-piece, which partially covered her with furry coat, and knee-high platform platform.

While the burgundy number covered up nearly head to toe in a posh furry coat, being the provocative entertainer that she’s been since her debut, the starlet teased viewers by opening the coat to reveal her figure in the racy ensemble.

In keeping with the color theme, the New York City native also donned knee-high platform boots and a short pixie-like tresses with bangs that appears to be a wig.

‘Yea… yea,’ she says seductively, before adding, Okay,’ which coincides with her opening one side of the coat to reveal the racy undergarment, which helped showcase her many tattoos on her hip and arm.

Another look consisted of bikini-like bottoms with a white a cropped white short with red trim that highlighted her toned midriff, where she donned a long black tresses with a healthy dose of volume.

She shifted to a white and red wig with bangs when she changed into brown bikini bottoms and a long matching head scarf that fell down past her knees.

The raunchy song recently debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
