The “I Like It” singer reveals how many kids she’d like to have in total, and why she asked her fans how they’d feel if she got pregnant again.

Cardi B was still glowing with new parenthood during her stop by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” during his Brooklyn trip this week.

The new mom was more than happy to gush about the joy that baby Kulture has brought into her life, but it wasn’t all sunshine and roses to get to this point. She went so far as to say her baby broke her body during childbirth.

When Kimmel asked her if childbirth was harder or easier than she thought it would be, Cardi immediately shot back, “It was totally harder.” She then added, “She broke my vagina.”

Kimmel uncomfortably laughed, but honestly, what did he expect? Cardi is one of the most candid celebrities going. “Why nobody told you about those things? Nobody told me they were gonna stitch my vagina,” she lamented.

And it’s a good point, though we think Kimmel’s response to her declaration sums it up pretty well. We’re still a pretty prudish society, and women’s bodies make us more uncomfortable than anything else.

Kimmel, of course, knew about it because he has young children of his own, so his wife recently went through that. But did he know before the birth of his first child? Did his wife?

It didn’t seem to set her back any, though, as she not only admitted she wants to have three or four kids, she also said she wishes she’d started earlier and seems ready to get pregnant again right away. “This [is] what I was missing my whole life,” she explained.

When Kimmel asked if she thought she maybe needed to take a beat before getting pregnant again, Cardi responded, “I do feel like I need a rest, but oh my god, the happiness that my baby brung me is just like I could just do this over and over again.”

It was so genuine and sweet, as was her smile every time she paused and you could tell she was thinking about Kulture.

She recently asked her fans if they’d be made if she got pregnant again, which Kimmel simply had to know about. Why would they be mad, he wondered? Again, that answer’s pretty simple.

“Oh well, you know, people have mixed feelings,” she said. Cardi has spoken several times about how she was advised not to have this first child so early in her career, and it’s a common refrain for young mothers in any field of business. Getting pregnant derails careers and is seen as a sign that they are less committed to their careers.

It’s one of the primary perceptions as to why women aren’t taken as seriously in the workplace, because they’ll be wanting to take time off to have babies, and then their focus will be divided. How selfish of them!

At least women are starting to speak up for themselves, and even being heard. And it looks like baby Kulture is going to have no problem having her voice heard, much like her mother.

“My husband used to tell me, like, stop screaming and stop catching that attitude when you pregnant ’cause you’re gonna pass that to the baby, and it’s like, I did. I did,” Cardi B admitted sheepishly to Kimmel.

“I already see it coming,” Cardi said. “She really is very demanding and it’s just like, but– fine.”

Of course, as Kimmel pointed out, she’s also like three months old. At that point, babies are basically demands and bodily function factories. But if Cardi is already seeing Kulture cop some attitude at three months old, she’s right. She’s in for a wild ride.

And she wants more?
