Nicki Minaj is never going to win any awards for her expansive and colourful wardrobe.

However, the rapper looked particularly bad as she stepped out for dinner in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.

The 30-year-old opted to wear a rather unflattering yellow polo neck jumper that made her look slightly rounder than normal.

The tight top did nothing for the curvy star’s ample cleavage as she teetered into Boa Steakhouse restaurant with a group of friends.

With the bright yellow top attracting a fair bit of attention to her, Nicki made sure she stayed warm in a short fur coat.

Despite the night sky already being out the American Idol judge still decided to wear a pair of extravagant sunglasses to hide her eyes.

Nicki said: ‘I knew it was going to reach the masses and like I keep saying, it was something that wasn’t expected of me and I always like to do things that people wouldn’t believe that I would do.

‘The producers were really sweet and I asked a lot of people I really cared about if I should do it and the last person that I asked was Little Wayne and he said ‘absolutely do it’ and that was my last thing where I found peace with it, so I did it, I signed on the dotted line.’

Nicki also put an end to her feud with fellow Idol judge Mariah Carey, and insisted that she no longer had a grudge against her.
