Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj will be featuring Rihanna on her upcoming song! Details here!

Doja Cat is gearing up for an eventful week on the Billboard charts, and her string of successes has already begun.

The singer and rapper recently dropped her new album, Scarlet, which is expected to make a strong debut on various Billboard rankings.

The title owes much of its anticipated success to her single “Paint the Town Red,” which has ascended to the No. 1 position on a specific chart. As it rises, Cat finds herself in the company of some of the most successful women in music history.

Billboard reports that “Paint the Town Red” is about to rise to No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart, and the list is set to be officially updated in the coming days.

The chart ranks the most popular songs at radio stations specializing in rhythmic music across the United States.

In only a matter of days, “Paint the Town Red” will become Doja Cat’s tenth No. 1 hit on the Rhythmic Airplay chart—a remarkable milestone that only a few artists have managed to reach. In fact, only four women have achieved double-digit No. 1 hits on this chart, and Cat now joins their company.

Rihanna leads the pack among female artists, boasting an impressive 17 No. 1 hits on the Rhythmic Airplay chart. Next up among women is Beyoncé, with an even dozen No. 1s, while Nicki Minaj is just one leader behind Beyoncé, having secured 11 No. 1 hits.

When considering all artists, the ranking shifts slightly. Cat is among a select group of 11 artists who have achieved 10 or more No. 1 hits on the Rhythmic Airplay chart. Drake holds the record in this category, with an astounding 38 tracks reaching the summit—more than twice as many as Rihanna, who is in second place.

In addition to Cat, artists like Usher, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown (with 13 each), and Lil Wayne and The Weeknd (with 12 each) are part of this elite group. Cat now shares her position with Post Malone, as both have accumulated 10 chart-topping hits.Cat’s journey to the No. 1 spot on the Rhythmic Airplay chart began in 2020 with “Say So,” which can be considered her breakout smash single.

She has continued to dominate the chart, consistently sending her hits to the pinnacle. Her impressive tally of 10 No. 1 hits has been achieved in just about three years, a very fast succession of smashes.
