Cardi B has addressed the latest ghostwriting accusations that have come her way after people heard her guest feature on FendiDa Rappa’s “Point Me 2”.

Spotify’s Head of Urban Music, Carl Chery, gave his two cents on the new track and praised Cardi’s feature, tweeting, “I don’t care who writes it. Cardi B is hard AF!” Chery’s tweet was in reference to the ghostwriting allegations she has faced since breaking onto the scene in 2016.

Lately, those allegations have resurrected since Cardi has been dropping off some vicious features on tracks such as GloRilla’s “Tomorrow 2” and Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor Again.” The Bronx native caught wind of Chery’s tweet and cleared the air by inviting any naysayers to come watch her work in the studio.

“I WRITE IT ….Come to a studio session!,” Cardi tweeted alongside an image that showed the credits for Fendi’s blazing new track that shows the Grammy Award winner wrote her own verse.

This isn’t the first time Cardi has responded to ghostwriting rumors as she’s acknowledged working with songwriters in the past, such as Pardison Fontaine, who helped her with “Bodak Yellow,” “Be Careful,” “Money,” and more. In 2019, Cardi sent out a tweet claiming she’s been writing her own songs since her mixtape days.

“Because I do write a lot of my s**t that’s the thing,” she said. “Yes just like every other artist I do have a couple writer that help with hooks but I wrote plenty of songs on my album specially my mixtape. Ya just flip s**t and ya want to believe the f**k s**t so bad but EAT IT UP B*TCH!”
