Miley Cyrus celebrates receiving SIX Grammy nominations as she gushes about women dominating the music industry: ‘Makes me proud!’

Miley Cyrus celebrated receiving a grand total of six Grammy nominations on Friday and took to social media to also gush about women ‘ruling the music industry.’

The Wrecking Ball hitmaker, 30 – who recently uploaded black and white photos from a ‘magic’ island getaway – jumped to both Instagram as well as X (formerly known as Twitter) to share a message to her followers.

The star also included what appeared to be a polaroid snap of herself sporting a sleeveless, black ensemble as well as a stylish, black hat that was placed on top of her head.

In the caption, she penned, ‘Congratulations to all of this years Grammy nominees. Watching women rule the music industry makes me proud.’

‘It’s fun to be nominated & exciting to win but having my music LOVED around the world is the real trophy.’

Cyrus also sent love and gratitude towards her fans, adding, ‘To my Smilers – I celebrate YOU today. Your joy is my bliss.’

‘My team + all of my collaborators are irreplaceable & priceless pieces of this puzzle,’ she sweetly wrote, concluding with, ‘I love you all. Thank you for making my Endless Summer Vacation so sweet.’

Social media users and other celebrities jumped to the comment section to share their congratulations to the music artist.

Her older sister, Brandi Cyrus, added a slew of star emojis, while supermodel Miranda Kerr typed out three heart emojis.

Her hit track, Flowers, was nominated for three awards, including: Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Flowers was released earlier this year in January and became a global hit, and spent a total of eight weeks at the top of the Hot 100 chart.

The album dropped in March and the star previously opened up about dividing the LP into two parts which she called ‘a.m.’ and ‘p.m.’

In a clip ahead of the album’s release, per Rolling Stone, she explained that in the morning, ‘There’s a potential of new possibility – it’s a new day.’

‘In the nighttime, it feels that there’s a slinky, seediness, and kind of a grime, but a glamor at the same time. In the evening, it’s a great time for rest, it’s a time to recover – or it’s a time to go out and experience the wild side.’

Cyrus continued, ‘In L.A., there’s a certain energy to the night that you can kind of feel trouble boil up to the surface and it’s very inspiring to me.’

The actress later released a documentary concert special on Disney+ which was called Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions).

Lastly, Miley was also nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Brandi Carlile on Thousand Miles.

SZA led with a total of nine Grammy nominations while both Victoria Monet and Phoebe Bridgers followed close behind with seven. Similar to Cyrus, Taylor Swift also received six nominations.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards are slated to be held next year in February at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
