Did Ella Mai’s new single just announce that these two rap legends are in a relationship?

It’s no secret that Nicki Minaj and Quavo are two of the biggest artists in hip-hop right now. Nicki has dominated the industry over the past decade with her undeniable charisma and next level bars and Quavo is currently riding high on the charts with Migos and as a soloist. The two superstars have just hopped on a remix of rising star Ella Mai’s US Top 10 hit ‘Boo’d Up’ and it is nothing short of amazing. Nicki and Quavo add their signature magic to the single.

That’s not all though. Rumours that Nicki and Quavo are dating have been spreading over the internet for months and it now seems like the two rappers have confirmed that they are indeed dating on the ‘Boo’d Up’ remix. On the single they literally rap as though they are two lovers and in their verses on the new track, they are both very suggestive.

Nicki raps: “Fuckin’ wit’ him but we never tell the press, though”, perhaps in reference to the fact that the two of them have kept their relationship private, and Quavo adds “I’ll let you get the racks out my wallet, yeah // But she so bad she say, “I got it,” yeah, ooh”, perhaps in reference to the fact that Nicki has her own money.

The remix then ends with a phone conversation between Nicki and Quavo that sounds like it’s an exchange between lovers: “Hello? What’s happenin’? Babe, can you come and get me? I’m outside“. Of course this all could be fiction for the sake of a song but the internet is taking it as confirmation that they are together.

Some people are certain.

The signs are there.

Others need official confirmation.
