Nicki Minaj has announced that she will be releasing her highly anticipated new album titled “Pink Friday 2” in 2023. The rapper revealed that she began working on the album back in 2020, making it the follow-up to her 2018 release, “Queen.” This news was shared by Minaj herself in October 2023 through a tweet where she disclosed the album’s release date.

During a recent Instagram Live session, Nicki Minaj responded to a question regarding Rihanna’s potential appearance on her upcoming album. While addressing the inquiry, Minaj seemed to indirectly confirm rumors surrounding a breast reduction procedure.

“Pink Friday 2” is scheduled to be released on December 8th, 2023, coinciding with Minaj’s 41st birthday. Originally planned for November 17th, 2023, the release date was pushed back to align with this special occasion for Minaj and her fan base, known as the Barbz.

Although the official tracklist for “Pink Friday 2” has not been unveiled yet, Minaj hinted at some song titles during an interview with Vogue in November 2023. She mentioned one track titled “Big Difference” and confirmed that existing songs like “Last Time I Saw You,” “Red Ruby Dle,” and “Super Freaky Girl” will be included on the album.

As for touring plans, Nicki Minaj last toured in 2019 during her “Nikki World Tour,” which featured the late rapper Juice WRLD. While nothing has been officially confirmed regarding a tour in 2024, Minaj hinted at the possibility in an Instagram post announcing “Pink Friday 2” for summer 2023. She mentioned providing tour details closer to the time, suggesting a potential tour in the first quarter of 2024.

Fans have been speculating about possible collaborations on the album, especially after Minaj’s recent collaboration with Ice Spice on “Princess Diana.” The rapper has previously collaborated with artists like Lil’ Kim, Petra, NBA YoungBoy, and Koy Lur, sparking anticipation for more exciting features on “Pink Friday 2.”

In response to inquiries about collaborations, including the possibility of working with Rihanna again, Minaj kept her response cryptic, leaving fans intrigued. She responded with a rhetorical question, “Did pigs fly?” followed by a shrug and eye roll, adding to the mystery surrounding the album’s features.

As anticipation builds for “Pink Friday 2,” fans eagerly await further announcements from Nicki Minaj, including any upcoming tour dates and additional details about the album’s content and collaborators.
