Miley Cyrus took herself dancing all the way to the Grammys stage.

The pop superstar, 31, performed her hit single “Flowers” — which won best pop solo performance and is up for both record of the year and song of the year — at the 2024 Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The singer-songwriter’s Grammys appearance marked the debut televised performance of “Flowers.” Cyrus took to the stage in a bedazzled silver outfit and channeled Tina Turner with electrifying choreography and a backing track of Turner’s “Proud Mary.”

Cyrus also poked fun at the audience’s presumed silence by saying,”Why are y’all acting like y’all don’t know this song?” At another point, the star even switched up the lyrics in her hit single to “I just won my first Grammy,” referencing her win earlier in the ceremony in the best pop solo performance category for “Flowers.”

The performance ended with a dramatic mic drop and Cyrus strutting off the stage.

The former Disney Channel star last graced the Grammys stage in 2019, when she teamed up with Shawn Mendes for a duet of his song “In My Blood.”

Cyrus performed at the Grammys for the first time in 2009, when she joined Taylor Swift to perform “Fifteen,” the classic song on Swift’s second album, Fearless.

As Cyrus chose not to tour her last album, she has only ever performed “Flowers” live once before Sunday. In honor of her birthday in November, the Bangerz star sang a stripped-down version of the track at the piano for an intimate concert held at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont for family and friends.

The “Used to Be Young” singer found a smash hit with the disco-pop song when she dropped it in January 2023 ahead of Endless Summer Vacation‘s release in March. “Flowers” became a widely embraced self-love anthem, and was among the most popular tracks of 2023 — even reaching major milestones, like becoming the first song to reach over 100 million streams on Spotify in one week, per Variety.

Thanks to “Flowers” and Cyrus’ efforts on her eighth studio album, she is among the most-nominated artists at the 2024 award show with a whopping six total nominations. Aside from best pop vocal performance, record of the year and song of the year, Endless Summer Vacation is also up for the coveted album of the year and best pop vocal album. The song “Thousand Miles” featuring Brandi Carlile was nominated for best pop duo/group performance, but the award went to SZA and Phoebe Bridgers’ collaboration “Ghost in the Machine.”
