Sometimes the best Christmas gifts aren’t the ones that cost the most, especially when dealing with celebrities and athletes who can buy almost anything they like. It is safe to say Angel Reese was a big admirer of her boyfriend’s efforts after gifting her a unique present over the holidays.

The LSU Tigers player is currently dating Cam’Ron Fletcher – not to be confused with the American rapper Cam’Ron – who also plays college basketball for the Florida State Seminoles.

Instead of splashing out on jewellery or a new car, Fletcher had the brilliant idea to commission an artist to create a one-of-a-kind painting just for Reese to enjoy, with the picture showing a detailed image of Reese holding the 2022 NCAA women’s basketball national championship trophy.

The artist, Kidané, posted a video clip of their work on their Instagram page with the caption: “Special commissioned Christmas gifts for angelreese10 from @camron & another for @_tez9.”

And Reese was clearly delighted with her gift from her 21-year-old partner after showing it off on her social media accounts. Posting a story on her Instagram page for her three million followers, she reposted Kidané’s video and said: “My boyfriend got me this for Christmas. So sweet I loveee.”

Angel Reese and Cam’Ron Fletcher’s relationship

The couple have been together since they met six years ago through their love for basketball and, despite their busy schedules and long distances between colleges, they find a way to keep the romantic spark alive.

Reese, in particular, recently took to social media to show her support for long-time boyfriend after he suffered a knee injury in December.

“I love you my sweet boy,” Reese wrote on social media towards Fletcher.

According to On3, Reese’s NIL deals are valued at an astonishing $1.7 million, which puts her at sixth in the list of the highest-paid college athletes. The basketball player, 22, who refers to herself as the ‘Bayou Barbie’ due to her glamorous appearance and Louisiana roots, has several sponsorship deals to top up her bank balance.

She has closed deals with major brands like Amazon, PlayStation, Tampax, Reebok, Bose and Sonic, and looks destined for the WNBA when she graduates from college.
