The LSU superstar had a stellar performance against Ole Miss
In the wake of another stellar victory for LSU against the Ole Miss Rebels (84-73), NCAA sensation Angel Reese took a moment to express her gratitude on social media, particularly thanking God for the success in her basketball journey.

Reese shows gratitude for basketball
With LSU currently on a remarkable 15-game winning streak this season, Reese acknowledged the divine gift of basketball in her life.
She conveyed her appreciation to God, stating, “Basketball is something you’ve gifted me with to share with the world but you also put me in this world for another reason that I’ve slowly figured out! Thank you!!!”
Angel Reese’s impact extends beyond the court, making her one of the top-ten college athletes in terms of NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) valuation.
With an impressive valuation of around $1.7 million, she holds the title of the highest-valued women’s basketball player, with teammate Flau’jae Johnson following closely at $1.1 million.
In the recent LSU vs. Ole Miss face-off, LSU showcased their dominance despite a commendable effort from the Rebels.
Reese played a pivotal role, contributing 21 points, nine rebounds, and four assists, leading her team to victory.
The game featured a remarkable 9-0 run by LSU in the third quarter, securing their triumph with a final score of 84-73.
Notably, all five of LSU’s starters achieved double-figures in the game.
Reese pays tribute to late Kobe Bryant
It was just days ago that Reese also expressed gratitude for the legacy of Kobe Bryant.
The 21-year-old basketball star paid tribute to the couple’s Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation. LSU is among the six schools partnering with the foundation for the “Mamba Program” during the 2023-24 season.
Reese, donning special edition Kobe Bryant and Gigi shoes, expressed gratitude to Vanessa for reaching out to LSU with incredible merchandise.
Reese’s post said, “Kobe Bryant, we really love you. We miss you so much. Venessa, you’re doing an amazing job with everything, with the Mamba, and Mambacita. We really appreciate you and we love you. Thank you for specifically reaching out to LSU and giving us all the amazing merch.”
