Taylor Swift has been warned on several occasions to be cautious of Travis Kelce’s intentions. Still, the singer seems to be getting even more serious with the Chiefs player. However, Travis’ recent jokes about Taylor’s fame may have enough to ignite speculation over his motivations.

While appearing in a TikTok for his team, Travis was asked who the most famous person in his contacts is. With a smile, the athlete replied, “You already know the easy [answer],” which seemed like a clear reference to his Grammy-winning girlfriend.

When instructed not to give the “easy answer,” Travis said the second-most famous person’s info he has saved is Justin Timberlake. But Travis admitted the singer likely wouldn’t pick-up if he called.

“No, not a chance,” Kelce said. “And I appreciate you Justin, but he’s a busy man.”

Travis Is Financially Benefiting From Dating Taylor

Travis has been rubbing shoulders with more A-listers than ever since he began dating Swift in the summer. Not only has she become a fixture at his games, but she’s even brought an entourage at times, with celebs like Blake Lively, Sophie Turner, Selena Gomez, and more joining her in the audience as she roots for her NFL boyfriend.

Travis’ popularity has dramatically increased since being linked to Taylor, which first came after he admitted on his podcast to trying to give her a friendship bracelet with his number at his concert, though unsuccessful. Nevertheless, the episode caught Taylor’s attention, as they started dating soon after his comments.

Not only has there been an increase in Chiefs viewership and Kelce’s jersey sales, but his podcast has seen a rise in popularity. Likewise, Travis has gotten a slew of new followers (and so have his family members), which can lead to higher revenues, such as through brand deals.

It’s likely that Travis’ is financially benefiting from his high-profile relationship; the more interest the public has in him, the more opportunities he’s likely to have, which has led to some fan theories that Travis is in the relationship for the wrong reasons.

Travis’ Motives For Dating Taylor Have Been Questioned

It doesn’t help that his ex-girlfriend Maya Benberry seemed to suggest his motives were questionable when she publicly warned Taylor about him in an interview with Daily Mail.
