Cardi B the catwalk queen! Rapper makes runway debut in blue fur coat at Balenciaga show with Kim Kardashian and Nicole Kidman sitting front row… a year after luxury brand faced massive backlash over controversial child ad campaign

Cardi B made a show-stopping runway debut at the Balenciaga Fall 2024 fashion show on Saturday.

The rapper, 31, modeled a bright blue fur coat as she strutted down South Windsor Boulevard in Los Angeles with the Hollywood sign in the background and Kim Kardashian sitting in the front row.

This comes after the luxury fashion house faced a massive controversy over a year ago when consumers claimed their ad campaign that showed children posing with bears wearing BDSM gear promoted ‘child exploitation.’

Following the backlash the brand received, the Up hitmaker — who looked stunning in a colorful leather ensemble after leaving a fitting in West Hollywood just days earlier — took to the runway wearing the vibrant coat teamed with Balenciaga’s famous pantaleggings with attached pointed-toe heels.

She opted to wear the coat in an off-shoulder style and held the front closed as she walked down the street.

The Grammy winner also wore an eye-catching, diamond-encrusted chain necklace and delicate stud earrings for her jewelry of choice.

She parted her extremely long, raven black tresses down the middle and slicked it back into a sleek and polished ponytail.

For makeup, she rocked wispy lashes as well as jet black lip liner and a deep red gloss.

Kardashian, 43, took to her Instagram to share photos and videos of the models as she sat in the front row observing the show.

She recorded a clip of Cardi B walking during the show and modeling her fab garb.

She also posted a photo of actress and model Brigitte Nielson, 60, making her way down the sidewalk catwalk in a chic, all-black ensemble.

The blonde bombshell donned a pair of over-the-knee, latex boots with a very tall platform and pointed heels as the statement piece of her outfit.

She also rocked an extremely long and pointed manicure with glossy black nail polish to match her look.
