Washington, Nov 11 (EFE).- The best scores of this Saturday’s day in the NBA, that of Giannis Antetokounmpo with 35 points and that of Stephen Curry with 30, did not help the Milwaukee Bucks or the Golden State Warriors to win in their games against the Orlando Magic and the Cleveland Cavaliers, respectively.
The Orlando Magic dominated the Bucks from start to finish, who for the second consecutive game paid for Damian Lillard’s absence due to muscle discomfort despite Antetokounmpo’s great scoring.
The Bucks, who lost -21 in the third quarter, also paid for 19 losses and a worse balance in rebounds (56-49) against the Magics led by Paolo Banchero, who with 24 points and 12 rebounds signed double figures .
CELTICS 117-94 RAPTORS
The Celtics, second in the Eastern Conference, were superior to the Raptors who had a mediocre score in field goals with a success rate of 38.5% (35 of 91), in particular a poor 27% in three-point shots (10 of 37).
The Boston team was led by Jaylen Brown, who with 29 points and 5 rebounds was the top scorer of the game, and by Jayson Tatum, who with 27 points and 5 rebounds was the most decisive as the Celtics achieved a +/- differential of +42 with him on the court.
HEAT 117-109 HAWKS
Bam Adebayo with double figures (26 points and 16 rebounds) led a Heat team that played and won without Jimmy Butler or Tyler Herro, but in which the Mexican-American rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. also shone.
Jaquez Jr. had his best performance in the NBA by returning to the starting lineup, playing 38 minutes and 28 seconds, scoring 20 points, collecting 4 rebounds and handing out 3 assists.
WARRIORS 110-118 CAVALIERS
The Warriors lost their second game in less than a week with the Cavaliers despite the fact that Stephen Curry was the game’s top scorer with 30 points that helped him surpass 22,000 in his professional NBA career.
The Cavaliers dominated the second quarter (21-38) and the Warriors the third (31-16), but those from San Francisco missed Draymond Green in the last quarter, expelled after confronting Donovan Mitchell, who scored 21 points for those of Cleveland.
