NBA star Julius Randle has hilariously ruined a New York Knicks fan’s on-court marriage proposal.

The 6-foot-8 forward got into an argument with one of the referees behind the couple as the man went down on one knee on Thursday night.

Collectively, the Knicks made sure not to spoil the special occasion, beating the Detroit Pistons 118-112 at Madison Square Garden.

But Randle, 29, himself didn’t appear to care about the proposal too much.

The two Knicks fans first celebrated winning tickets for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, featuring the famous Rockettes.

The MSG organist then played Here Comes the Bride with the man kneeling and pulling out an engagement ring to shock his girlfriend – who said yes.

As the stunned woman looked at her soon-to-be fiance, Randle could be seen approaching the referee with a towel around his neck in the background.

And he stood there, arguing with the official for about 20 seconds as the couple expressed their love.

Meanwhile, the pair of Knicks fans shared two big kisses in between the moment when the man slipped the ring on his partner’s finger.

And NBA fans couldn’t stop themselves from laughing at the oblivious Randle.

“Gotta love New York and the chaos it brings,” one wrote on X.

“If you are proposing at a Knicks game then I’d imagine this is exactly what you wanted lol,” another added.

“Would have been perfect if Julius got T’d and tossed lol,” a third said.

“Julius like I’m at work rn,” one wrote.

Randle scored 29 points and logged 10 rebounds and eight assists while Jalen Brunson registered a game-high 42 points in the victory over the Pistons.

New York improved to 11-7 on the season thanks to the win while Detroit suffered their 16th straight loss and dipped to 2-17.
