Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber almost had a run-in at a gym in Los Angeles.
Reminder: These two are definitely not friends!

Because we all need a break from the torrent of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry step-down news that’s hitting us this weekend, let’s focus on a different dramatic saga, aka Taylor Swift’s not-so-great relationship with Justin Bieber.

As any loyal Swiftie/Belieber will know, these two pop stars don’t get along and it’s mainly because of Scooter Braun, aka Justin’s longtime manager and Taylor’s longtime adversary.

Back in summer 2019, when Taylor spoke out publicly against Scooter acquiring her masters, Taylor wrote that “Scooter got his two clients together to bully me online about it. (See photo)” and then included a photo of Justin:

And sorry, it doesn’t end there, ’cause then a few months ago when Taylor accused Scooter of not letting her perform her music at the AMAs, Justin came to Scooter’s defense by posting a screenshot of an article that accused Taylor of lying about the situation. So yeah, these two don’t see eye to eye!

And apparently, things got awkward this weekend when they almost had a run-in at a gym in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, Taylor had booked out the gym for a private session, so everyone had to leave while she worked out. Justin happened to have been at the gym beforehand and was reportedly dragging his feet about leaving.

According to the site, “Justin’s security team was approached and asked to leave, but JB’s team held firm and said he was going to finish his workout before taking off.” And even though I would love for this to be more dramatic, apparently Justin “had no idea it was Taylor who had requested the gym be cleared,” and it’s likely she didn’t know Justin was at the gym before she got there.
