James originally declared that he was a Dallas Cowboys fan, but he then switched teams to the Cleveland Browns due to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’s position against players kneeling during the playing of the National Anthem.

“Nope, man. I had to sit down and watch the Cowboys game. There were really a lot of things happening when people were kneeling and peacefully discussing the right to free expression. Many of the front desk staff and organization members said things like, “You won’t play for this franchise again if you do that around here.” That just didn’t seem right to me.
