Although he has so far only taken part in 31 games in the NBA, Victor Wembanyama has already managed to set several historic records.

This was again the case this Sunday thanks to his performance delivered in express time on the Cavaliers floor.

If he has already experienced failure in the past in the French championship, he must never have accumulated as much frustration as at present.

The anger expressed by Victor Wembanyama after the defeat against Cleveland can actually be heard.

The French prodigy does not have much to reproach himself for individually, he who once again produced an impressive performance with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks:

The incredible record won by Victor Wembanyama

Once again sparkling against the Cavaliers, Wembanyama was unable to avoid his team’s short setback (115-117) despite his great performance.

A performance delivered despite the minutes restriction that he continues to suffer, and which he spoke frankly at the end of the meeting.

This nevertheless allowed him to write history in a breathtaking way in recent hours, as Brett Usher reports:

Victor Wembanyama signed his 10th game with at least 20 points and 4 blocks, the highest total in the NBA this season (Embiid is 2nd with 7).

He thus surpasses Tim Duncan and posts the sixth best mark in this area for a rookie in the history of the league, as well as the best since Shaq (28) and Alonzo Mourning (18) during the 1992-93 season.

Incredibly, five of those 10 stat lines were done in 26 minutes or less on his part.

Which represents, believe it or not, the most CAREER games with at least 20 points and 4 blocks in 26 minutes or less in NBA history.

As a reminder, Wemby has only played 31 games and is averaging 22.8 points and 4.5 blocks per game over the last six.

Ultra-productive despite still limited playing time, Victor Wembanyama can console himself by having succeeded in writing his name in the NBA’s books.

There is no doubt, however, that he would trade this feat for a few additional victories.
