The Australian-born NBA star took part in Friday’s training session with his team, who are currently 11-4 and sit second in the Western Conference.

After the session, a reporter confronted him about the unfounded allegations, and he said: “I understand the question, but there’s no further comment right now.”

Mark Daigneault, the coach of the NBA team, referred to Giddey’s situation as a “personal matter,” before revealing he did not want to comment on the matter.

“Personal matter, and I have no comment on it. That will be my answer on anything related,” he said.

Despite the allegation, neither Giddey nor the Thunder has issued a statement regarding the accusations.

An NBA spokesman said on Friday that the league is “looking into allegations that Thunder guard Josh Giddey has been involved in an improper relationship with an underage girl.”

Giddey was starting his third season with the Thunder when the bombshell video was posted.

The 6-foot-8 point guard has averaged 12.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists over 15 games this season.

He’s been a key player throughout the Thunder’s six-game winning streak.

The rookie skipped the college level and jumped straight in with the pros in 2021.

He won a gold medal representing his country at the Oceania Under-17 Basketball Championships in 2019.

Just one month later, Giddey took part in the Basketball Without Borders camp during NBA All-Star Weekend and was named an all-star.

Before he started with the NBA, Giddey spent one season with the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League to develop his skills.

After the season, he was named NBL Rookie of the Year.
