Stephen Curry’s Wife Ayesha Left Shocked At Her Mom’s Age
Ayesha Curry has a fascinating ethnic lineage. Her father is of mixed African-American and Polish descent, while her mother is of mixed Afro-Jamaican and Chinese-Jamaican ancestry. It is no surprise that this interesting mix of cultures contributed to her striking looks and especially her radiant skin.
The former cooking show host and actress, wife of NBA star, Stephen Curry, has often credited her mother and grandmother for their advice to get great skin. It’s this interesting lineage that has also become the cornerstone of her million-dollar business, Sweet July Skin. Recently, her mother celebrated her birthday and it left Ayesha Curry shocked. Let’s find out why.
Ayesha Curry can’t believe this
Ayesha Curry’s latest Instagram story update shows her wishing her mother, Carol Alexander, birthday wishes. Mother to four children, Carol, has just turned 60 and Ayesha simply can’t believe it to be true. Neither can we. Looking at her photos is enough to understand why.
Captioning it “60 where?!”, Ayesha uploaded a photo of her mother in a simple, full-sleeve, short, wraparound dress, looking every bit anything but 60. The second picture of Carol is a casual sleeveless top paired with colorful pants, a scenic backdrop, and the caption, “Happy Birthday mommy!!!!!!”
Ayesha Curry and her Sweet July Skin
There was a time when Ayesha would simply ignore her mother and grandmother’s advice on how Jamaican superfoods are the root of healthy skin and life.
But with time and age, the mother of three realized the wisdom in those. Getting serious about the advice, Ayesha dove headlong into research and the result was Sweet July Skin.
Seeing how African women did not have proper skincare products that catered to their unique and vibrant skin, the elite chef took superfoods from her kitchen and Jamaica to infuse them into skincare products.
Her mother and grandmother came forward with their own recipes, the tried and tested ones.
But Ayesha knew it wouldn’t be enough.
And that’s how she put together a team to bring the needs of a community to fruition. Now, her brand is making waves among the beauty and cosmetic fields.
The line of products under Sweet July Skin was launched in July 2023 and their three core products Pava exfoliating cleanser, Pava toner, and Pava face oil have received a good response.
Another unique thing about the products is that they are also vegan and cruelty-free.
