Despite being NBA royalty, LeBron James and Savannah James’ most significant titles are father and daughter.Together, LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 19, Bryce Maximus, 16, and Zhuri Nova, 9, make up the couple’s three children. Zhuri arrived just over a year after the couple’s 2013 wedding, and Bronny and Bryce were also born prior to the big day.

From their social media profiles, it’s evident that Bronny and Bryce intend to play basketball like their father did. LeBron stated to The Athletic in February 2022 that he intended to play with his oldest son on the court during his last NBA season. “My last year will be spent with my son,” he declared. I’ll be wherever Bronny happens to be.”

In a 2022 Sports Illustrated feature, LeBron reaffirmed his thoughts, stating, “I like to talk to the basketball gods out there and see if things can work out, so I put it in the air.” I’ve always talked to the basketball gods and set goals for my career, and they’ve listened to all of them. I hope they’ll be able to hear this last one as well.” Alongside their father, Bronny and Bryce appeared on the issue’s cover under the heading “Chosen Sons.” LeBron’s famous 2002 Sports Illustrated cover declared him to be “The Chosen One.”)

The legendary NBA player expressed his devotion for his children to Access Hollywood in 2021, saying, “My daughter and my boys are the greatest things in my life.” Thus, no matter what I’m doing, I always feel delighted when she grins.” While traveling for the NBA, he has been candid about the emotional toll that being away from his wife and children takes, saying to USA Today, “I miss the hell out of my family,” including my mother, my kids, and my wife. And on and on, it goes. It’s quite the task.”

With his wife and kids by his side, LeBron became the all-time NBA leading scorer in February 2023. Then, the James family hurried to join him in celebrating on the Crypto.com Arena court. Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri filmed video messages of congratulations for their father in advance of the milestone.

“Dad, congratulations. I am glad of all the effort you have put in. I’m really in love with you, Bronny said. “Congratulations, dad, for surpassing Kareem for all-time scoring,” Bryce continued. I’m very happy for you. I cherish you. Continue as you are.”

LeBron broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA scoring record to win the finest record-breaking performance award at the 2023 ESPYs in July. Savannah, who was accompanied on stage by the couple’s three kids, spoke briefly about her husband before giving him the medal; Zhuri assisted her in making it suitable for television.

Savannah opened her mouth to remark, “LeBron James is the baddest mother,” when Zhuri interrupted her with, “Mom!” With a shake of her head, the young girl advised Savannah not to use foul language in front of the crowd.

“I think LeBron James is the baddest to ever set foot on a basketball court,” the mother of three remarked, starting afresh. Nobody puts in more effort than them. Nobody has contributed more to the game of basketball or shown greater concern for it.

LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 19

On October 6, 2004, LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., the first son of LeBron and Savannah, was born. Growing up, Bronny was an avid basketball player who might potentially play in the NBA as early as the 2024–2025 season.

Bronny has achieved great success in his own right. In a thrilling match held in LeBron’s native Akron, Ohio, in 2019, he led his high school, Sierra Canyon School, to victory over his father’s alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. At the age of sixteen, he appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in July 2021, making him six months younger than his father was for his own cover in 2002.

In order to play with his oldest kid during his final season as a professional basketball player, LeBron has stated that he will “do whatever it takes.” He stated to The Athletic in February 2022, “My final year will be spent with my son. I’ll be wherever Bronny happens to be. If I could play with my son for a year, I would do anything. At that point, it isn’t about the money.

LeBron honored his son Bronny’s signing of an endorsement agreement with Nike on Instagram by posting a side-by-side photo and video of him and his son on the basketball court, just a few days after Bronny turned 18 in October 2022. The delighted father, who has worn Nike gear since the beginning of his professional career, captioned the photo on Instagram with the words, “The Legacy Continues On!” Well done, Young King!”

On January 11, 2023, Bronny’s parents, siblings, and little brother Bryce attended his high school senior night game to show support for the young player. The entire family took pictures on the court after the game.

Bronny was selected as one of 24 high school players for the 46th McDonald’s All-American Game later that month. Being able to play in the esteemed game is an enormous honor, particularly for Bronny, who gets to carry on his father’s legacy of being selected for the squad in 2003.

LeBron sent a screenshot of the roster to Instagram to commemorate his son’s achievement.

“Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee @bronny!!!!!! Best wishes, son! So incredibly proud of you!” he captioned the photo. “Remain yourself at all times, no matter what!” You really are incredible!”

Not too long after, Bronny committed to the University of Southern California (USC) to begin his NCAA basketball career. The teenage player published a picture of himself in the Trojans’ locker room on Instagram in May 2023, announcing his selection.

“Fight On ✌🏾 #committed,” he captioned the photo.

Bronny experienced a heart arrest in July 2023 while working out at USC. The following day, a spokesman for the James family issued a statement in which they clarified, “Medical personnel managed to attend to Bronny and transport him to the hospital. He is no longer in the ICU, and his status is stable.”

LeBron provided an update on Bronny’s condition later that week.

He posted on Twitter, saying, “Everyone is doing great.” We sense your love and have our family together, safe and well. We’ll talk more when we’re ready, but for now, I just wanted to say thank you very much for your support!#JamesGang.

Within the week, Bronny was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A James family representative declared the following month that the family was “very confident in Bronny’s full recovery.”

Bryce Maximus James, 16

On June 14, 2007, Bryce Maximus James became a member of the family during the 2007 NBA Finals. When Bryce was born, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were attempting to overcome the San Antonio Spurs. According to a spokesperson for LeBron and Savannah, “LeBron and Savannah are overjoyed with the birth of their son and are looking forward to bringing him home to his big brother, LeBron Jr.” (PEOPLE).

In 2017, LeBron gave Bryce a grand birthday celebration by posting a video of himself on Instagram singing “Happy Birthday” to his son. In the video, he wrote, “Happy Bryce Maximus’s Birthday! I’m in shock that you’re ten years old, man. Time is really passing by. I’m proud to be your father every single day, Young! 👑 Love you! It’s My Cake Too 😂😂😂😂 #ZhuriLikeThat.”

In 2021, Bryce received his middle school diploma. Bryce plays basketball, just like his father and elder brother did. Occasionally, he posts pictures from his school games on Instagram. He got his first offer to play basketball on a Division I scholarship in August 2022 from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Zhuri Nova James, 9

LeBron and Savannah welcomed their third child, daughter Zhuri Nova James, on October 22, 2014, one year after they were married.

The little child already has a keen sense of style. Zhuri assisted with the 2020 launch of Janie and Jack x Harlem’s Fashion Row apparel line when she was just 5 years old.Regarding organizing the event, Zhuri told people, “I’m most excited about the fashion and talking to the designers.” She added that before the big day, she “practiced with” her mother.

LeBron enjoys giving Zhuri expensive presents, and in October 2020, he revealed the brand-new playhouse he had purchased in advance of her birthday. It was designed to resemble their family’s residence. He posted a video to Instagram with the message, “My princess, an early birthday gift!” and Baby Z, I love you.”

Zhuri went to the July 2021 premiere of her father’s film Space Jam: A New Legacy with her parents.Prior to the event, the trio was beaming on the purple carpet.

LeBron honored his daughter’s eighth birthday on Instagram in October 2022 with a heartfelt post. His carousel post featured a picture of the pleased father’s tattoo, which features Zhuri as a baby, as well as a picture of the father and daughter posing in similar beige overalls.

Cheers to your birthday, lovely Princess 👸🏾 of the Kingdom @allthingszhuri! “Daddy’s Little Girl ♾️!” he captioned the photo. “I cherish you, cherish you, cherish you, cherish you! To the infinite and beyond!”
