And he doesn’t just say it. This is how James Worthy, legend of the Los Angeles Lakers and one of the stars of the NBA Hall of Fame, defined it.

LeBron James starred this past weekend against the Clippers in one of the most brutal actions of his entire career against Paul George.

The ’23’ mate was so praised that even James Worthy filled it with flowers: “he is the mate of the century.”

He even compared him to Julius Erving: “He looked like Dr. J. (Julius Erving)! He dunked the Statue of Liberty from the free throw line… and hit it down hard!”

What surprised him was not the action. James Worthy was shocked that he did it at 39 years old, night after night being one of the best players of the day.

“Let a 39-year-old man do it…” he said on Spectrum SportsNet Live.

James Worthy played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1982 to 1994, becoming NBA champion three times.

The legend continues to praise LeBron James in his twenty-first season in the competition: “He needs help. He can’t do it every night,” he concluded.
