Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are believed to be ‘considering’ rekindling their romance, but one expert has warned the pair could face a number of challenges

Kim Kardashian has received a cautionary note from a relationship guru about rekindling her romance with Pete Davidson.

The reality TV star’s whirlwind love affair with the comic actor commenced after sharing a fiery kiss on Saturday Night Live’ though fate had other plans and the pair parted ways just nine months later in August 2022. Despite their split, rumours have it that Kim is feeling ‘lonely’ and remains open to reigniting the flame with Pete.

However, Louella Alderson, a relationship expert, expressed reservations about such a reunion. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she relayed: “Rekindling a past romance can be both exciting and challenging. Ultimately, it depends on the circumstances surrounding the rekindling of the romance.

She told the Mirror US: “If both parties have grown and matured since their previous relationship, there is a possibility that it could work. However, if old issues and patterns resurface without any attempt to address and resolve them, then the chances of success may be lower.”

The end of Kim and Pete’s chapter purportedly came down to the trials of a long-distance relationship as Pete was tied up shooting the movie ‘Wizards!’ in Australia, while Kim, grounded Stateside, juggled parenthood with her four children.

Post-split, life hasn’t slowed for the reality megastar, who has ramped up her professional pursuits. Alderson continued: “In the case of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, it seems unlikely that they have significantly changed since their initial relationship.

“While it’s possible that Kim may miss the friendship they had, it’s important to consider why they broke up in the first place and whether those issues have been fully resolved. It also raises questions about the motivation behind wanting to reunite – is it truly love or just a desire for someone young and fun? “.

The expert did suggest though that Kim and Pete shouldn’t be put off by the short time they were together if they do decide to reunite, adding: “The length of a previous relationship should not really impact the potential success of a rekindled romance.

“What matters more is the depth and quality of that relationship during those 9 months. If there were issues or incompatibilities present, they may still exist regardless of how long they were together. On the other hand, if they had a strong connection and solid foundation, then it might be possible for them to build upon that and have a successful relationship once again.”

Alderson’s comments come after a source told Star magazine Kim feels as though she and Pete have “unfinished business”. They said: “She’s confident things will be different this time around. She’s craving excitement in her life and she always responded to Pete.”

They also claimed Kim has been “lonely” without Pete and has been reminiscing about how he made her feel. The source continued: “She would love to have some romance and she misses his friendship.”
