Bronny James is nicknamed the most “overrated” player

If Bronny wasn’t the son of LeBron James, then he would be a mediocre college basketball player, and no media would pay attention to it.

In fact, he is now called the most “overrated” player in college basketball. Because the performance is not impressive. Bronny’s hype is just because he’s just LeBron’s son.

Bronny James’ college basketball career hasn’t been smooth sailing. He was unable to start the season with a bang after suffering a heart attack in July 2023.

He needed four months before fully recovering. Immediately treated by the program’s medical staff at the Galen Center, he was taken to the hospital and spent three days in the intensive care unit.

Bronny James finally made his highly anticipated debut against Long Beach State on December 10, 2023.

He played exclusively off the bench and just made his first start for USC against Colorado on Saturday, January 13, United States time. So far Bronny is averaging 5.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in nine games.

Bronny James got the chance to start for the first time because Isaiah Collier, Joshua Morgan and Boogie Ellis were out with injuries.

Bronny was ineffective in the first half as visiting USC led, and his struggles continued in the second half as Colorado took control and won 68-58. He ended the game with a shooting accuracy of 0 from 7 attempts, including 3 three-point attempts.

Bronny James’ performance didn’t impress college basketball fans. This is a chance for Lebron James’ son to prove himself and potentially earn a starting spot.

However, he destroyed everything. And, earned the nickname as the most “overrated” player from netizens.

Bronny James is expected to play one season of college basketball before making the switch to the NBA in 2024. However, that dream seems unlikely to come true considering his performance this season. There’s a chance Bronny won’t be drafted if his playing time and performance don’t improve.

He is projected not to be included in the latest ESPN draft made by two experts, Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo. (*)
