Inter Miami president David Beckham posted a photo of himself and his son Romeo at the training ground on August 7, showing that he has returned to his team after a family vacation amid Messi’s impending return.

David Beckham’s appearance coincides with Inter Miami preparing for their League Cup round of 32 match against Toronto FC, which kicks off at 6:30 a.m. on August 9 at Chase Stadium.

According to Marca (Spain): “Mr. David Beckham and his family just had a millionaire vacation in Corsica (a Mediterranean island), on a yacht worth nearly 20 million USD. Meanwhile, the Backgammon set in the photo of the former football star’s wife, Victoria, playing with her son Romeo costs up to 17,000 USD. The Beckham family took advantage of the end of their summer vacation to gather together in Corsica.”

After this period, Mr. David Beckham will return to closely follow the journey of Inter Miami Club in the key stage of the season. In particular, the highlight of this August is the Leagues Cup. This is the tournament in which the team of the former English player, as president and co-owner, won the championship for the first time in the history of the club last season. Currently, David Beckham’s team has entered the knockout round, starting the journey to defend the championship.

Inter Miami players have returned to training since the beginning of this week. In which, the two stars who just attended the Olympics, Diego Gomez and Benjamin Cremaschi, have all gathered and are ready to compete. Famous players Jordi Alba, Busquets and Suarez, along with striker Leonardo Campana, are all training hard. However, famous player Messi has not appeared on the training ground yet.

According to coach Tata Martino: “Messi has fully recovered from his right ankle injury. But he still needs to practice his balance again and do specialized ankle exercises in the gym. Messi’s recovery is within the time frame we have planned. If everything goes well, Messi will return to training on the field and with the ball next week.”

Therefore, it is likely that Messi will not be able to participate in the match between Inter Miami and Toronto FC. The 37-year-old Argentine star can only return to play in the Leagues Cup if his team advances to the round of 16.

In the recent match (July 18 in the MLS), Inter Miami won Toronto FC with a score of 3-1, also at home at Chase Stadium, without both Messi and Suarez (who had just finished playing in the Copa America).
