Bronny James’ cardiac arrest is a thing of the past, he returned to basketball activities with all his strength and he is already drawing attention from many NBA teams. In fact, a recent report confirmed that the Miami Heat has already made inquiries about the heir to the throne.

But LeBron James is already taking the necessary steps in order to get his son to play for the Lakers as soon as possible. All he needed was to say a single phrase in order to let his intentions be public. As he was fuming from the fresh loss against the Memphis Grizzlies, there was a moment in which LeBron James was asked if Bronny’s Saturday game was ideal for him to start for the first time since he returned from his injury.

LeBron was quick to point out that Bronny could play for the Lakers right now and that Saturday was his time to be part of the starting lineup at USC. The school where Bronny James plays has taken his return extremely seriously, they don’t want a PR disaster in their hands and nobody can blame them for it.

According to the doctors, Bronny is fit to play but he needs to take it slowly to see how his heart responds to extreme physical activity. However, LeBron James has been paying close attention to his own son’s recovery and he simply said: “It’s his time. He could play for us right now. Easy. Easy.”

When will Bronny James make it to the NBA?

As this return process from the injury keeps evolving, Bronny James first needs to complete a full season at USC without any more physical issues. Once that happens, there needs to be an evaluation of his game and stats.

Should he pass these tests with flying colors, all we need is for him to end his run in college basketball in order to become eligible for the NBA Draft. The next couple of years will be instrumental in the ultimate decision to make him part of the potential draft players who are coming from either college or other teams abroad.
