Los Angeles Lakers recently took a turn for the worse, as the team was handed out its fourth consecutive loss at the hand of the Memphis Grizzlies with a score of 113-127.

Speaking to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, LeBron James was blunt about the team’s situation.

“I mean, we just suck right now,” James stated. The Lakers have so far had a middling season with the exception of the NBA In-Season Tournament championship.

“That was just two games. It’s a small sample. Everyone is getting so cracked up about Vegas and keep bringing up Vegas,” LeBron reflected on the In-Season Tournament.

“It was two games. We took care of that business. It was the in-season tournament, we played it, we won it. But that was literally just two games.”

In the meanwhile, Lakers coach Darvin Ham, whose seat has been increasingly questioned, also stated that there has been too much emphasis on losses.

“I’m tired of people living and dying with every single game we play,” the specialist stated. “It’s ludicrous, actually. It’s like, come on, man, this is a marathon. And we hit a tough stretch. It’s the same team…” he was blunt in his response.

“We played some high-level games a little while ago, and we just got to get back to that. We got to keep the fight going. We cannot lose our fight,” he concluded.

Currently, the Lakers have a record of 17-19, inhabiting the 11th spot in the Western Conference.
