Two years ago, Taylor Swift donated $10,000 to help Jacob Hill get a service dog.

Last weekend, with no advance notice, Taylor sent front row tickets and backstage passes to Jacob’s family for her concert in Houston.

The world can be an overwhelming place for Jacob, an 8-year-old with autism. He is very sensitive to loud noises and bright lights. But he overcame them to meet his favorite musician, Taylor Swift.

Jacob also tends to wander off, which is why Taylor donated $10,000 to Jacob’s family to get him a service dog. The donation was sent after Jacob’s sister and cousin re-wrote Taylor’s “Blank Space” and put it on YouTube, hoping for donations.

Jacob’s mom, Allison, says the service dog “has been totally life-changing for Jacob.”

When they met Taylor for the first time at the concert, Jacob’s mom said the pop superstar was beyond kind.

“Taylor Swift said that Reid (the dog) was a big puffball and so cute. She was especially awesome with Jacob. She didn’t see my son’s disability she just saw him,” Jacob’s mom, Allison, wrote on Facebook.

She continued:

“She got down on her knees and looked him right in the eyes and said hello and that she was thankful HE came to her show even though she knew it was loud and there was so much going on.

He grabbed her face and pulled her hair back and said ‘Hi Taylor!’ which was something we were working on all week, but didn’t know if he would be able to say it.

She was very gracious and acted like him grabbing her face didn’t even phase her.

After the picture was taken, the flash scared him so he snuggled right up to her and her sweet smile says it all.”

“My daughter, Jordan, was pumped to meet her. We feel so blessed!

Taylor is such an amazing person for doing this for us…again!

Jacob made it through almost the entire concert. Taylor is such an autism advocate, we love her!”
