There is one key royal family Easter tradition Prince Harry is reportedly saddened his two young children miss out on this year, an author has revealed.
Prince Harry has been estranged from his family for years, but there is one key tradition the 38-year-old is saddened his kids miss out on this Easter, a royal expert has claimed.
The British monarchy takes part in a series of Easter celebrations, including the Sunday service at St George’s Chapel on the grounds of the Windsor estate.
Members of the royal family are often photographed by the media as they walk into the iconic chapel, which is followed by a roast lamb lunch at Windsor Castle.
Royal author Tom Quinn said while Prince Harry enjoys the church service and walkabout it was “really going to upset” him this year that his kids – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – would miss the Easter egg hunt.

“Harry always enjoyed this tradition because he got to meet an adoring public for a short period,” Mr Quinn told Britain’s The Mirror on Easter Sunday, local time.
“But what’s really going to upset Harry this year is that his children will miss out on the Easter egg hunt that takes place afterwards.”
The Sussexes and their children have lived in the affluent enclave of Montecito in California since the couple stepped back as working royals in 2020.
Every year, the monarchy is said to host a special Easter egg hunt for the family, with several of the royal palaces also known to open their doors for public events in the past.
Weighing into Prince Harry’s rift with his family, Mr Quinn said the Easter hunt tradition would have been a chance for Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet to get to know their cousins.
“The family rift is going to prevent this and Harry will feel it keenly,” the royal expert added.

Easter Sunday marked King Charles’ first prominent public appearance since his cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
The 75-year-old was seen smiling as he waved to small crowd of onlookers with his wife Queen Camilla by his side as the couple attended the Easter Mattins Service.
One member of the public wished the King a Happy Easter, prompting His Majesty to smile and respond, “And to you” before making his way into St George’s Chapel about 10.45am.
Prince William and Princess Catherine did not attend the Easter Sunday service amid news of the mother-of-three’s shock cancer diagnosis.
The couple are reportedly spending some downtime with their young family at their beloved Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk out of the public gaze.
It has been speculated Prince William is not expected to resume royal engagements until after his children return to school on April 17.
