Rihanna Says Her Kids Are “Obsessed” With A$AP Rocky
“I’m just a background. I’m an extra!”
Rihanna reveals A$AP Rocky is her kid’s favorite parent. Riri spoke to Access Hollywood during her Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty launch party about motherhood. She opened up about the chapter in her life and how performing at the Super Bowl while pregnant was “an out-of-body experience.”
However, nothing compares to seeing her “best friend,” Rocky, become a father. The mother of two confessed that her kids are “obsessed” with their dad. Additionally, the experience granted her a different type of love for her man.
“I loved him differently as a dad,” she began. “This is major, major-like; it’s a turn-on. It’s just like, ‘Wow! What a leader, what a great, patient, loving [dad],’” she said. “And my kids are obsessed with him. I’m just a background, I’m an extra. Yep! It happens! It doesn’t matter if it’s girls or boys; they love their dad differently, and I love to see it.”
Elsewhere, Rihanna detailed her expectations for her family and how it turned out. She admitted that she didn’t have “an idea” of what her family would look like. But the “Diamonds” singer did want her tribe to “break generational curses” and “live differently.”
“No, you don’t have an idea. You just hope—I hoped that I could have kids one day, and I hoped that I could have them in love. I hoped that I [could] be a part of a family that breaks generational curses, moves forward, does new things, and [we can] raise our kids better than we were raised. All the beautiful things and it’s happening. And I can’t believe it.”
But there was one thing that she spent time stressing over. The Fenty businesswoman disclosed that she imagined her forehead being passed down to her kids. So far, though, her children don’t seem to have her features, and it shocked the musician.
“The only thing I imagined was probably the forehead on RZA,” she said while laughing. “He doesn’t have it! I’m like, ‘Wait, are you sure?’ You can’t lose this thing!’”
