Just a couple of months ago, Kate Middleton mimicked Taylor Swift’s signature heart-hand gesture during a visit to Fitzalan High School in Wales. And now, it seems the “Blank Space” singer has picked up a fashion trick or two from the British royal in return, incorporating one of Middleton’s favorite statement pieces into a recent outfit worn at Travis Kelce’s football game: knee-high boots.

Yesterday evening, the musician, 33, attended a game between the Kansas City Chiefs (her boyfriend’s team) and the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in Wisconsin. (FYI, Swift stopped appearing at Kansas City Chiefs games temporarily due to her ongoing Eras Tour.)

In a video reshared by Hello! Magazine, Swift showed up to the game wearing an all-black ensemble with a red fuzzy coat and knee-high leather boots. As it happens, knee-high boots have become a trendy go-to in Kate Middleton’s wardrobe as of late.

Back in November, the Princess of Wales, 41, paid a visit to a baby bank called Sebby’s Corner in Barnet. While there, the royal mom of three rocked her go-to Gianvito Rossi boots (which are currently out of stock). But you can still purchase the similar Gianvito Rossi Glen Boots in the color brown ($1,750).

But Princess Catherine and Swift aren’t the only ones hopping on the knee-high boot train. One week after the Princess of Wales donned them, Queen Camilla, 76, rocked knee-high boots of her own during a reception dinner for the Booker Prize Foundation at Clarence House. In a photo snapped at the event, the royal rocked black suede boots with her blue cobalt Fiona Clare coat dress. Oh, and even Princess Beatrice, 35, was spotted wearing a pair of statement boots while attending a Christmas party in London just last week.

First the royals and now Taylor? Clearly this a sign for us to go out and get our own statement boots.
