Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes led the celebrations as the Kansas City Chiefs toasted yet another AFC West title on Sunday.

‘New Year’s Eve ain’t the only thing we’re celebrating tonight!’ the reigning Super Bowl champions wrote on social media alongside a selection of pictures from inside the locker room at Arrowhead.

Kansas City has endured a challenging season, losing six games including five of their previous eight before Sunday’s win over the Bengals.

Kelce has also endured some struggles but after the game he headed out to toast the New Year with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The 25-17 win over Cincinnati saw the Chiefs move to 10-6 – and ensured they will end the season atop the AFC West.

That called for celebrations inside the home locker room at Arrowhead on Sunday, with head coach Andy Reid receiving gifts from his players.

‘Happy New Year and how about those Chiefs?’ the coach said, addressing his team. ‘Great job fellas, I’m proud of you, proud as can be.’

Kansas City has reigned supreme in the AFC West since 2016 and DT Chris Jones heaped praise on Reid before handing him a gift bag.

‘For the eighth year in a row, the big man, Big Red, Coach Reid!’ Jones said.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was another player who addressed his teammates. He singled out kicker Harrison Butker for praise and told the locker room: ‘Come back ready to go next week and into the playoffs!’

Later on Sunday, Kelce and Swift shared a kiss as the clock struck midnight in Kansas City, with the couple celebrating the arrival of 2024 with a glitzy party surrounded by friends.

Video from the party surfaced across social media on New Year’s Day, with the singer and the NFL star caught on camera in a passionate embrace on a number of clips from the bash.

Kelce was wearing a sleek suit for the bash, while Swift was wearing a glittering dress for the occasion.

Friends shared multiple videos from the night, with a close friend of Kelce’s filming the room as the clock struck midnight and inadvertently catching the couple kissing.
