Will Taylor Swift be at Chargers vs Chiefs game to cheer for Travis Kelce?

Taylor Swift has left the Kansas City Chiefs in no doubt that she is willing to follow her boyfriend Travis Kelce around the country, come rain or shine.

But America’s newest power couple, who announced their romance in September, may be forced to spend a few days apart after a clash emerged in their busy work schedules.

Travis Kelce reveals details of romantic New Year’s party with Taylor Swift

Kelce and Swift spent New Year’s Eve together after his game against the Cincinnati Bengals, as well as put together a Christmas celebration between their families at Kelce‘s father’s house.

She has attended nearly half of their 2023 regular season games after taking time off from her Eras Tour, which will resume this year. But they won’t be together this Sunday for the awards ceremony if reports are accurate.

The Chiefs tight end will be with the team for their Week 18 fixture against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, January 7. Kickoff is scheduled for 1.25pm EST, while the red carpet will begin at 2pm EST.

Sources have reportedly told Page Six that Kelce plans to fly back to Kansas with the rest of his team immediately after their game. And that would guarantee he cannot make the red carpet appearance with Swift at the Golden Globes should she decide to attend.

Why Taylor Swift may not be at the Chiefs game

Swift has taken up her seat in the suites at Arrowhead Stadium on several occasions this season, so she may be forgiven by Kelce for skipping out on a dead rubber match given the Chiefs are already guaranteed to take a playoff spot.

The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer could be heading to the 2024 Golden Globes awards ceremony after being nominated in the brand-new Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category for her record-breaking concert movie ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’.

Swift is up against some tough challengers such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Barbie, John Wick: Chapter 4, Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning Part One, Oppenheimer, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

But Kelce, 34, won’t be with her at the ceremony – and while she is yet to confirm her attendance either, it would seem unlikely she would pass up making an appearance when she could win.
